Atomik Carbon wheels get lifetime limited warranty

Atomik Carbon AM35

A new warranty and crash replacement covers products for life, including the AM35, Atomik Carbon’s new all-mountain/enduro rim.

High-end carbon-fiber component manufacturer Atomik Carbon has announced a new lifetime limited warranty covering its carbon fiber rims and handlebars for the original owner from date of purchase. Effective immediately, the warranty applies to registered product purchased from an authorized dealer or directly from Atomik Carbon.

“We understand that high-performance carbon products are a significant investment, and we want our customers to choose to upgrade their bikes with confidence,” said Kevin Lineberger, Atomik’s vice president. “Our engineering team has worked hard over the past several years refining layup and manufacturing techniques to ensure our products meet the strictest standards of performance and durability, and the result was the AM35, our strongest rim to date. The new layup will be incorporated in all mountain rim products going forward, from all-mountain right down to cross-country. This is our way of backing that up.”

The warranty guarantees all products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the product. In addition, the brand has also extended its crash replacement policy for the life of its products, and expanded the service to include nipples, spokes and rebuild labor for a nominal fee in the event of a crash or damage not covered under warranty.

“We understand that even with good products, bad things can happen,” said Lineberger. “If they do, we want to get customers riding again as quickly and easily as possible.”
